I’ve been keeping a secret! During The Geekly Retreat, I was given the opportunity to test out a new mobile game that is coming out in association with the upcoming movie, Spies in Disguise!! Check out what the game entails and how YOU can put your special agent skills to the test. Here’s a rundown of Spies In Disguise: Agents On The Run!

Spies In Disguise: Agents On The Run
The mobile game publishing studio and developer, Denali Publishing, announced this week that a new game was coming this fall. Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run will be the official mobile game based on the upcoming animated spy comedy adventure, Spies in Disguise. The film from Blue Sky Studios will star Hollywood mega talent such as Will Smith, Tom Holland and Rashida Jones. I mean, what a combination! Right? The game will feature action-packed gameplay and beautifully rendered environments inspired by the animated film. It’s a cinematic-style, endless runner mobile gaming experience that will send players on top-secret missions to collect characters, gear and more in order to become one of the world’s best special agents.

Confession Time
I am not a gamer by any means! In fact, I hardly EVER play games on my phone or computer. However, there was NO WAY I was going to pass up a chance to check out something new before anyone else. During one of our special events, we were paired up with mobile specialists who taught us the ins and outs of maneuvering the game. It was easy, fun, action-packed and definitely kept me on my toes! I found myself laughing, smiling and wanting to play more! I could definitely see myself playing this over and over again!
In Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run, players are given the chance to select from among the film’s three lead characters (Walter, Lance or Marcy). I personally chose Marcy (of course, I did!!). My responsibility then was to help Marcy unlock futuristic gadgets, amazing abilities and fully tricked out spy vehicles in her quest to become the world’s best special agent.
My time with the game was brief and I didn’t get very far (again, not a gamer!). However, my teen boys are going to love taking their turn at this game and I’ll admit it. I anticipate I’ll be testing my own skills again, too.
As a bonus, the mobile game will feature opportunities for players to compete for weekly rewards by aligning them with one of the super-secret spy agencies. Players will also enjoy experimenting with the multiple game modes, which offer numerous in-game elements for a highly engaging and truly endless experience.

Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run will officially launch on mobile devices worldwide via the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store this fall.
