The Star Wars saga has drawn generations of viewers into its fold. It’s a cult of sorts that has kept us feverishly watching and waiting over the years to see how the story finally unfolds. While we have fallen in love with this character or that and for this reason or that, one character’s story-line has kept us guessing through the years. What is the real deal behind the self-serving, cocky, quick-witted maverick’s story? Who is this Han Solo?
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Paul Bettany.
We spent the entire day in our hotel room (after picking up the college kid for the summer) watching Han, Chewie, Luke, Leia and the rest of the galactic crew in honor of “May the Fourth Be With You.” It was a perfect way to fuel the anticipation of SOLO coming to theaters. In just a few short weeks, we will find our seats, popcorn and soda in hand, and fill in the gaping holes about one of the most beloved rebels in cinematic history.
