Oh, the excitement continues to build as the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker debuted during halftime of ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” NFL game on October 21st. While, yes, I was truly interested in the game between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets, this trailer was high on the priority list and what I was actually staying up to see. Did you catch it? During which part did your jaw drop further?

FINAL TRAILER AND REACTION
Honestly, it’s bittersweet to see this saga coming to an end. I mean, we’re watching 40+ years of a family’s story-line come to a close. I was four when the very first movie came out and remember being old enough to see the second one in theaters. While we do have series such as The Mandalorian coming to appease the Rebel in all of us, there is just something emotional about watching this part of the tale come to an end.
So, I’m curious – who already has their tickets? Yes! Tickets for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are already available everywhere tickets are sold and, trust me, they are going fast!
MY REACTION TO THE TRAILER
I was glued to the television and don’t even think I blinked the whole time. I wanted to catch everything I could from those few moments. What would this glimpse reveal? Will we be able to make anything out from what we were given? We see Leia – and I want to know who else felt a tear escape? We catch a moment where Kylo and Rey seem to be working together. How does that come about?

It’s pretty obvious we hear Palpatine’s voice in the background. Could it be that he was planning this all along ~ like a puppet master pulling all the strings???
Of course, we can’t forget seeing Lando and hearing C-3PO utter a few words of sentimentality that made my heart skip a beat. How about yours?

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker releases in U.S. theaters on December 20.
