I love traveling around the country. Interestingly, we’ve lived in so many pockets of it that you would think I had every vacation spot memorized. We have been to Cape Cod, Atlanta, Sedona, Los Angeles , St. Louis, New York City, Bahamas, etc. From country to city to island in the Atlantic Ocean, we have a good handful of trips under our belt.  But I still can’t believe we have NEVER visited Branson, Missouri!
Disclaimer: I have been invited to visit Branson as a guest on a sponsored media event in April. However, all opinions about the upcoming trip and venues are mine and mine alone.Â
A Bucket List Destination
I’m actually rather embarrassed. My family and I lived in Missouri for a short period of time back in the mid 2000s. While we traveled a bit around the state (Ozarks, Kansas City, St. Louis), we never made it to Branson, one of the most well-known family vacation destinations in the country.  There was something about raising littles, having a child with an undiagnosed health condition and a hubby who had to work 24/7 (or at least it felt that way) that kept us from the adventure at that point in time. Fortunately, I have the chance to rectify that faux pas! I have the awesome privilege of experiencing Branson as the guest among a great group of bloggers April 8-11th!! Yes ~ I’m pretty psyched! Of course, that begs the obvious question ~ what does Branson have to offer and what will we be doing there?
During the upcoming sponsored media event, we will be exploring venues such as musical theater, comedy, thrill rides and movies. We will be riding roller-coasters, eating fried green tomatoes and laughing until our sides hurt.  The goal will be to bring all the excitement we experience to you as you begin to consider summer and future vacations with your family. Branson is known for its fun-filled family entertainment and atmosphere. The landscape is gorgeous and it has been a long time favorite go-to vacation spot for a huge handful of my friends, who have enjoyed the shows, food and excitement year after year. I am beyond excited for this trip and know that this is a blessed opportunity joining such amazing writing talent.
What’s on the itinerary?
So, what venues will we be exploring and what kind of entertainment will we experience? Here is a list of potential places I hope to highlight on my social media channels during the trip and in my blog over the coming weeks.
Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center
Silver Dollar City Theme ParkÂ
World’s Largest Cici’s
Clay Cooper Theater
Titanic Museum
Baldknobbers Theater
IMAX Ozarks Legacy and Legend
Branson Ferris Wheel and Track Family Fun Parks
Dolly Parton’s Stampede / Dinner
Hughes Brothers Music Show
Can you see why I’m so excited?Â
I’m actually going to be crossing something HUGE off my bucket list in just a short period of time. What I hope and would LOVE to do is inspire you to find Branson a potential destination for your family to visit, as well. So, follow along on my Facebook page, Footprints in Pixie Dust by T.M.
