No ~ that doesn’t mean there aren’t any kids in San Diego. It means that, when you travel as a family to San Diego in the month of October, there are multiple venues that allow kids to enter for FREE!!! Nada – zip, zilch, zero dollars. Talk about savings!!
Some of these venues include the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld San Diego and the USS Midway Museum. You can also find great specials and deals at Legoland California Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, on dolphin and whale watching and so much more!! Yes – Disneyland is even in the mix with special offers, as well!

Oh, are you under the Disney spell like I am? Oh, my goodness. I am all about Disney when it comes to ANY holiday and Halloween is no exception. If you’re in the Anaheim area between now and October 31st, do not miss an opportunity to experience Halloween Time at the Disneyland® Resort. From now through October 31, you can find spook-tacular Halloween Time experiences at both Disneyland® and Disney California Adventure® Park.
Some of the special Halloween highlights include an Oogie Boogie appearance right as you enter Disney California Adventure® Park. Rumor has it he is casting a spooky spell that covers the entire Park with his twisted tale of Halloween. You don’t want to miss out on visiting Cars Land either, as it will be all dressed up for Haul-O-Ween (I love that – HAUL-O-Ween – lol!!).
Of course, across the way in Disneyland® Park, Guest favorites (like Haunted Mansion Holiday) are waiting for you to visit. Not to mention Disney villains, or maybe even Mickey Mouse himself, are all dressed up in their Halloween best waiting to snap a wicked good photo memory with you.
