Whether as individuals or organizations, we all have the causes we support. Broadway, in a very special way, pours it heart out to those who are living life with a diagnosis of Aids. Since 1988, Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids has been raising awareness and money to provide services for those with this life-altering disease and their efforts over the years have been truly remarkable. This year, the Company Members from Disney’s ALADDIN North American Tour will take to the stage here in Orlando with some original and unique works ~ all in an effort to draw attention and support for this cause.
Company Members of Disney’s Aladdin Step Into a Whole New Role
On Monday January 27th at 8 PM, guests can enjoy an entertaining experience as Company members from the North American Tour of Disney’s ALADDIN present an evening of new and original music at The MEZZ here in Orlando (100 S. Eola Drive, Orlando, FL 32801).
For one night, members of the company will leave the streets of Agrabah and show off their original works in the heart of Orlando.  It will be a unique cabaret experience allowing the performers to step out of their professional roles on stage and demonstrate how abundantly talented and creative they are outside of the “palace walls.”
How can YOU become be a part of this intimate evening? Â
It’s easier than you think. In fact, NO GENIE required!  General Admission tickets for SONGS FROM A WHOLE NEW WORLD are just $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event with cash or card or by visiting www.EventBrite.com.
Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AidsÂ
All proceeds and money raised will benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, which is one of the leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations in our nation. Since 1988, the American theatre community has been donating their time and efforts, showcasing their talents, resources and generosity, to help Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids and, as a result, have raised more than $225 million.Â
Where does that money go? It funds essential services for individuals with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States. To learn more, feel free to visit www.broadwaycares.org.
Please be aware that Songs From a whole New World is a “21 and over” event. You may want to plan accordingly.
