Blogging Branson: Dining at the World’s Largest CiCi’s Pizza

April 20, 2018 By Tina 21 Comments

**RECEIVED 2018 BLOGGING BRANSON MOST OUTSTANDING INFLUENCER AWARD**

Pizza?  Did I hear someone say “pizza”?  ~ No?  Well, then I must just be hungry because I’m definitely thinking about pizza.  It’s my ultimate favorite food and when we had the chance to go to the World’s Largest CiCi’s Pizza while visiting Branson, I was all over that like melted mozzarella on hot, oven-baked pizza crust!  But first…a confession.

Disclaimer: I attended a media event as the guest of Niccole from The Creative SAHM.  While this was a sponsored event, all opinions listed below are 100% authentic and mine alone.

Now, I’m a little embarrassed to say this here on a public platform, but I’m going to because it’s common knowledge among my friends and I have promised to be authentic in all my posts.  I have, in the past, been known…to not be a fan of CiCi’s pizza.

Yes, I said it.  Now it’s out there.  I don’t even know why, to be honest.  It had to have been the particular restaurants we visited over the years or the customer service (or lack thereof) we received.  I honestly have no clue or recollection as to why I have felt this way.  Nonetheless, I had been told by some pretty reliable sources that this particular franchise was different and worth trying.  So, being the pizza lover that I am, I took on the challenge.

CiCi’s in Branson

So, first things first.  Why do they call it the World’s Largest CiCi’s?  Well, this restaurant is a fairly new 14,000 square foot facility, largest among over 400 locations throughout the country!  That’s huge!  It houses a ginormous open dining area that can seat close to 400 and has a few party rooms that can be reserved for special occasions and larger private groups (such as ours).  It’s not too big of a facility, however, that one cannot reach the buffet quickly enough when your plate is empty.

The Buffet

Now it’s time to talk food!  Yum!  It’s buffet style service where you pick up a plate and fill it up with your own choices.  There are several variations of pizza options from straight cheese (sometimes the basic is my favorite) to interesting creations like chicken alfredo, chicken bacon club or even mac & cheese (for those with adventurous appetites!).

You can also find a salad bar complete with all the good veggies and dressings, as well as some pasta salads.  Other items on the buffet include wings and a few extra carb side options, such as garlic bread and pasta with marinara.   When it’s time for dessert, there are a few sweet treats up for grabs on the buffet, as well.

Food Allergies

For my food allergy readers, I did get the chance to briefly chat with Jeff, the General Manager of CiCi’s in Branson.  He said they are more than willing and able to try accommodating special dietary requests.  They do recommend calling the restaurant ahead of time if you have the ability to do so, but they can manage things just as well if you happen to just pop into the restaurant.

When you arrive, mention to the person at the register that there is someone in your group with food allergies.  A form is then filled out with your specific dietary restrictions and options are discussed.  Choices are made and the food is prepared in an allergen-safe area before being delivered for consumption.

What I love about Cici’s website is that you can go on ahead of time and see what foods may be safe!!  Click here to get to the nutritional information page and then click on the links that say “more info” next to the particular pizza or food you are considering to order.  On the right, you should see Allergen Info listed for that particular choice.

(NOTE – as of 1/23/19, the nutritional info sheet linked above is not available on the site.  I will continue to check this).

Will this buffet break the bank?

Absolutely not!  You may even walk away feeling as if you stole from them because this really is a tremendous deal.  For all you can eat pizza, pasta, salad and dessert, adults pay $7.99 and kids $3.99.  THAT is a vacation savings right there, my friends.

The AMAZING Game Room

Okay – you are going to want to hold onto your seats because when I tell you how much they spent on this game room, you are going to FLIP!  They wanted to create an open game room with a variety of opportunities and options for fun.  With choices such as ski-ball, Hot Shot Basketball, Jurassic Park and classic Pac-Man, customers can choose from around 60 games to play by themselves or against family and friends.  Once you have had the chance to devour all the pizza, pasta, salad and dessert your stomach can hold, head on over to the $1 million dollar game room!

One more thing that sets it apart

I read the reviews.  I wanted to hear what others were saying about this place and what they thought about its customer service.  To be honest, they came to the exact same conclusion I did.  In addition to the great value of a quality buffet, the various food options being offered, the large open seating space and an amazing arcade-style game room, the thing that sets this CiCi’s apart is the heart of the staff.  As I mentioned before in other Branson posts, there is a personality about Branson that speaks volumes about southern hospitality.  The staff is kind, compassionate, understanding and patient.  They have every desire that you enjoy your time there in their facility and walk away full, smiling and satisfied.  This kind of service is priceless.  Like I said, you will walk away feeling as though you have stolen something because you pay so little, but receive so much.

Needless to say, my opinion has changed.  My sources were right and this was a great place to eat and have fun.

Traveling to Branson and need a good place to eat that won’t drain your wallet?  Stop by the World’s Largest CiCi’s on Hwy 76 (famously known as the Branson strip).  This is a great place for those who have family members or traveling buddies who have bottomless pits for stomachs (like my middle son).

They would!! LOL. The game room is HUGE! Honestly, they (and you!) would be entertained for hours! It’s a great place to go, eat until your heart’s (or stomach’s) content and then enjoy a little fun before heading home. The staff ~ they are truly fantastic people there, too Thanks so much for the read!

I haven’t been to CiCis in ages! I need to add it to my list of places to visit the next time I am in Branson. I like that they are aware of allergy friendly options.

This particular CiCi’s is very unique, in my opinion! I’ve been to a few others, but this one is HUGE!!! Wait until you see that game room, Pam!! LOL. I definitely recommend making it a point to stop by the next time you visit the area.

Okay, okay, I openly admit that when I saw the word CiCi’s … I bulked a bit. We had an incredibly bad experience at a local restaurant that ruined things for me. That being said, the food at the WORLD’S LARGEST looks fantastic. I love the options and the pizza looks cheesy and melty and perfect! #BloggingBranson

You are not alone, Heather! I actually had a pretty “not so great” experience at a smaller CiCi’s in the past, but I trusted my friend who told me this one in Branson was different. She was 100% on point!! And the game room – I mean, it’s HUGE!!! Definitely give it a try if in the area!
