Once again, the Marvel Cinematic Universe plans to keep us on our toes! As audiences continue to recover from the outstanding record-breaker opening of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, Marvel brings us more of the story behind Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man. This time, we find Scott teaming up with Hope, as we witness the formation of the dynamic duo of ANT-MAN AND THE WASP.
From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.
It’s no secret that our family is a huge pack of MCU fans. So, it’s obviously a no-brainer that this movie is going on this summer’s cinematic bucket list!
It’s nice to see Paul Rudd find his niche and place on the screen. He is great comedic talent and I have wanted to see him in a role in which he could grow (oh – wait….did I just use a pun?) since his days on Sisters (1992-1995) or stint on Friends (as Mike Hannigan)
Of course, who doesn’t love the beautiful Evangeline Lilly and extraordinary Michael Douglas? It’s a tremendous trio of talent that we cannot wait to see hit the big screen together again!
ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson, Randall Park, with Michelle Pfeiffer, with Laurence Fishburne and Michael Douglas.
So – mark your calendars now! July will be here before we know it! It’s going to a HOT summer of blockbusters!
